THE AREAS WHERE THE METHOD is successfully applied
One can carry out:
Research of functions and dysfunctions of binocular vision;
identification, restoration, correction of visual functions and improvement of eye sight at various forms of squint, doubling (diplopia), far-sightedness and near-sightedness, as well as at some forms of amblyopia and nystagmus.

The age of patients is from 5 to 18, in certain cases functional correction of the vision mechanisms of patients up to 50 years old is possible.

With brain, eye or orbit structures damage the application of the method is limited.
The vision correction period lasts 10 to 30 days for the cases with near-sightedness and at far-sightedness and from 10 days to 36 months for the cases with squint, amblyopia.

Duration of each treatment session is from 5 to 30 minutes depending on the kind of vision function disorder.

Unlike the existing methods of treatment, the subject methods of correction of binocular vision functions allow to control the mechanisms of binocular system actively, changing relations between visual and motor components of binocular vision system, which leads to a positive result.

Patients can carry out some exercises at home to strengthen the results of treatment. Over 6 000 patients have been treated with the usage of device Aviz-01 and the subject method.

The methods of correction of binocular vision functions have been developed by Mr. I.E.Rabichev., Ph.D. specialized in normal physiology and eye diseases.

In addition to the original method we suggest the treatment of the squint and amblyopia treatment at hypermetropia (far-sightedness) and myopia (near-sightedness) with the use of liquid-crystal glasses, developed by a French engineer and orthoptist Mr. Pierre Chaumont.

These glasses have a specific design. They can be used for a squint treatment of children from 3 years old.

These glasses allow development of monofixing for each eye, to develop convergence at missing squint, to improve eye muscles activity at converging squint, to establish fusion reflex at a pathological doubling, and to improve vision at hypermetropia, myopia and at various forms of functional amblyopia.

Liquid crystals with a light dispersion effect are used in these glasses. The electronic control allows controlling activation and deactivation of left and right eyes’ light channels and the time of the eyes’ opening in a wide time range (from 25 milliseconds up to 5 seconds).
